St. Peter's Lutheran Church, founded in 1878 by German immigrant farmers in Moltke Township, MN, has been a cornerstone of faith and community. For nearly 140 years, St. Peter's ran a Lutheran school, which closed in 2019, but the focus on youth ministry continued with the appointment of the first Director of Christian Education. The congregation adheres to Lutheran beliefs, affirming the Old and New Testaments, the three historic creeds, and the Lutheran Confessions, as part of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.
