Orlando International Airport Smoking Areas are available exclusively in designated outdoor locations. Smoking is not permitted inside any airport buildings, including gate areas, waiting sections, restrooms, dining outlets, or lounges. The airport follows Floridas Clean Indoor Air Act, which prohibits smoking and vaping in all enclosed public spaces.
Passengers can access smoking areas along the curbside zones on both the arrivals and departures levels. These locations are clearly marked with signage and include ashtrays for proper disposal. Travelers must completely exit the building to reach these spots.
There are no smoking facilities beyond TSA security checkpoints. Anyone who leaves the secure area to smoke must go through the screening process again before returning to their gate. To avoid delays, passengers are advised to plan their smoking breaks prior to clearing security, especially during peak travel hours.
