Kelsey Young, MD

Dr. Kelsey Young, MD is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in conditions of the hand, wrist, and elbow at Modern Orthopaedics of New Jersey. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals experiencing upper extremity injuries, chronic conditions, and complex orthopedic issues. A Long Island native, Dr. Young earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology & Society from Cornell University before receiving her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College, where she was recognized with honors in service and awards for community engagement. She completed her orthopedic surgery residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, serving as academic chief resident and receiving distinctions for outstanding performance and excellence in shoulder and elbow surgery. Dr. Young further advanced her expertise through a specialized fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital. Her approach combines advanced surgical techniques with thoughtful non-surgical treatments to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and return to their daily activities.
