My psychotherapy and healing practice employs both counteractive change models, step approaches, as well as models of change and growth that focus on transformational change. We bring in all levels of the brain, the early brain (sometimes called the reptilian brain), the limbic system and the neocortex. Our sense of ourselves derives from the levels of the body, emotion and cognition and I work integratively on all three levels including the transpersonal level. We look at symptoms but realize them as nested within the whole person's larger and deeper framework. We might start with assessing symptoms, but we focus on the person who suffers from them.
