I'm Sherisse Cohen, an experienced psychologist based in Bondi Junction, in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. Sometimes you know something isn't working, but changing it isn't so easy. You might be caught in patterns of overthinking, anxiety, difficult emotions, relationship problems, binge eating or behaviours you understand aren't helping but keep finding yourself repeating.

My approach is warm, practical, and evidence-based, drawing on therapies including CBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness, attachment-informed therapy, and other psychological approaches depending on what will be most useful for you. There isn't one formula that works for everyone. The work starts with understanding you your patterns, your experiences, and what you'd like to change.
