Rob Bridgland loves tradition. A fourth-generation family, he and his wife, Lorinda, took the reins of the Bridgland’s family business in 1991. The Bridgland’s store is steeped in history. Established in 1908 as a furniture manufacturer, they would send products via steamship and even supplied furniture to Old Parliament House in the early twentieth century.

Betta's Mullumbimby store has an extensive collection of home appliances. Nowadays, the Bridgland’s store employs eight staff members and supports the local bowling, golf, and football clubs through sponsorships and donations. As locals in the community for over 30 years, the Bridglands are regulars at Bimbi Coffee shop, enjoy a good flat white, and love being part of the vibrant Mullumbimby business community.
